Pictured Rock County Park is a must see for anyone looking for a quick half day outdoor adventure! The park is hidden in the Maquoketa river bluffs and offers an adventure for every style of outdoors-man. It is a dog friendly park, Thor loves exploring the caves!
Indian Bluff Cave, located on the park grounds, offers a history lessons and adrenaline rush for the beginning spelunkers. If the cave is open, its a must see for sure! The main trail to the cave is an easy 15 minute walk with many climbing spots available along the way. If hiking or climbing aren’t your cup of tea there are several drop in points for boats and kayaks along the river.
